3D Life announces a scientific partnership with the University of Ioannina and the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (EKETA) in a 3D Printing Project, the “Q3D Project.”. The three research partners aim to create better 3D Printed models, by gathering information during the building time via multiple special sensors. Gathering this information, they will create new 3D Printing controlling software which will lead to more precise and higher quality 3D Printed models.
Gregory Krinos, Head of Strategy and Business Development of 3D Life, has stated that “It is a great honor and privilege for us to work with academic institutions in our country and abroad to accelerate the research and developments efforts around 3D printing technology. We are committed to continue these partnerships with Academic Institutions to many other projects coming in shortly , establishing our company as a reference point for building up consortiums of 3D printing expertise mainly in medical applications which will close the gap between great ideas to proof of concepts and products commercialization”.
