3D Life participated in European Association of Cardiothoracic Meeting (EACTS) in Lisbon. Our company has presented in targeted meetings with interested companies our version and design of Dry Lab Simulation for pediatric cardiac surgery cases .
This unique and cost-effective product with a modular design is an excellent training and educational tool for surgical residents, fellows, and even experienced pediatric cardiac surgeons!
The set includes first of all an accurate, patient specific cardiac model of a real pediatric case (Tetralogy of Fallot, Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Hypoplastic Arch etc). The model, which allows for realistic surgical maneuvers including easy suture passing, is positioned in optimal surgical position on specially crafted 3D printed base.
An optional addition to the set is a wooden base on which the cardiac model can be magnetically and securely seated, equipped with a 3D printed Suture Anchoring Ring, which greatly facilitates surgical simulation.
Last, one additional option is a 3D Printed lamp with included Powerbank, providing convenient excellent illumination of the surgical simulation field.
The Dry Lab model provides a great surgical simulation experience and is another great accomplishment from our Clinical Application Engineering and Marketing team!
